  • How do chiller logs work in LogTAP?
    Digital chiller logs are modifiable, exportable, and always stored on a cloud server. Unlike traditional paper chiller logs, your recorded data is automatically ready for analysis. No need to manually transfer values from a log sheet to a spreadsheet. Welcome to the future!
  • Setting Up a Unit and Log
    In order to begin logging data for a chiller, a unit must first be created. Perform the following steps to create a unit: 1. Tap the Add button (plus icon), located at the center of the bottom navigation bar. 2. Select "Create a New Unit" 3. Enter the address of the Unit's location 4. Select "Choose Address" 5. Fill out all required fields on the "Unit Information" screen Note: If the Unit does not have a serial number or manufacturer number, you can input any characters in order to bypass these required fields. 6. Select "Create" 7. On the "Unit Parameters" page, select "New" if this is your first unit or you would like to assign specific parameters to this unit. Otherwise, select "From another Unit" to use an existing unit's parameters as a template. 8a. If you selected "New", select all desired parameters. Otherwise, go to step 8b. 8b. If you selected "From another Unit", verify that all desired parameters are selected. 9. Select "SAVE", located at the top right of the screen. 10. Your unit has been created!
  • Logging Chiller Data
    Chiller logs can be recorded after a unit is created. In order to record chiller data, perform the following steps: 1. Select the Add Icon (plus symbol), located at the center of the navigation bar, then select "Log Entry for a Unit". 1a. Select the desired unit on the "Pick a Unit" screen 1b. Alternatively, you can navigate to the "Unit Logs" page, then select the desired unit 2. Select the "New Log Entry" button 3. Select the first blank field, located to the right of the first parameter 4. Fill out all fields Note: Parameter fields may be skipped, but this will prompt a warning pop-up.This warning may be ignored if the parameter is meant to be blank. 5. Save the log by selecting "DONE", located on the upper-right corner of the log screen.
  • Modifying a Unit and/or Chiller Log
    The following can be modified to a unit and/or chiller log: - Unit Details - Unit Manufacturer - UnitSerial Number - Unit Manufacturer Number - Unit Location - Chiller log parameters In order to reach the unit/chiller log settings, perform the following steps: 1. Navigate to the "Unit Logs" page, then select the desired unit 2. Select the Settings button (the gear icon), located at the top right of the unit screen 3. Make desired modifications 4. Select "SAVE", located at the top right of the screen
  • Organizing Chiller Units Into Buildings
    Units can be organized into folders called "Buildings" Warning: A Building must be created prior to logging any data for a unit. If a unit has been created first and logs have been recorded, it cannot be moved into a Building. * Existing units will be reorganizable in a future update In order to create a Building, perform the following steps: 1. Select the Add button (plus icon), located at the center of the navigation menu 2. Select "Building" 3. Name the Building by filling out the "Building Name / Address" field 4. Select "SAVE", located at the top right of the screen 5. Select the Building on the "Unit Logs" screen 6. Select the Add button, located at the bottom of the screen, to add a unit to the Building * Refer to "Setting Up a Unit and Log"
  • Exporting Data From LogTAP to Your Computer
    Unit chiller logs can be exported via email. The emailed file will be compatible with Microsoft Excel of Google Sheets. This feature will be available soon.
